Brewery Legitimus
Brewery Legitimus is a craft brewery located in New Hartford, CT directly across from the Farmington River. Following a rebrand, we designed a novel packaging system that highlights the iconic crown logo mark. The labels of Brewery Legitimus’ utilize a pennant-shaped cutout that directs the eye to the center of the artwork, while also giving it a unique shelf presence.
It's Legit
The labels system is designed to work with any illustration style. This flexibility allows the client to easily collaborate with other breweries or illustrators now and into the future.
The illustration style we chose is uniquely devoid of traditional line drawing. Instead shapes and shadows are intentionally carved out of the background in order to create separation within a dichromatic illustration. The use of wildly illustrative labels sets the stage for compelling visual narratives that tell the story of each beer’s unique name.
