Valley Craft Ales

Valley Craft Ales is a Southern Vermont-based brewery located in the Wilmington River Valley. During our brand discovery phase, we felt strongly about four distinct visual concepts for the client. From playful and witty, to wholesome and authentic, our mood boards captured four unique takes on the brand direction.

The icon utilizes simplified geometric shapes to represent three pine trees. The trees are rendered in a golden-yellow color, contrasting with the dark green background. The arrangement creates a sense of symmetry and balance.

Scandinavian Vermont

The direction selected featured a marriage between modern Scandinavian design and classic Vermont imagery. Its minimalist approach is unexpected yet effective. It creates a breathless, easy-to-look-at brand full of meaning and comfort, pulling you in with its distinct typographic and iconography style, and the matte finishes and bright colors make it stand out in a sea of sameness. Valley Craft Ales gives a simple yet playful feeling while paying homage to the brand’s roots.
